Clinical commentary 臨床

The vehicle changes with the offending food: flour broth for damage from flour, musk decoction for raw fruit and vegetables. That is the same courier logic as the binder table appended to Cheongeumjimi-hwan in the Phlegm-Rheum chapter at 6.20.6 — the medicine is constant and what carries it is chosen for the target. Asafoetida is the section's specific for meat accumulation and appears again in the pill that follows. Its resinous, intensely fetid character is what the tradition reads as able to break down flesh. **Contains croton, which is toxic. Not suitable for self-administration.** — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
