Clinical commentary 臨床

The chapter's most-used Kidney vacuity formula, and the simplest — eucommia and psoralea, the two herbs that recur through every section of this chapter, with walnut kernels to bind and enrich. The name is said to come from a story about a young woman restored to vigor by it. What makes it a first choice is that it does nothing else: no moving, no clearing, only filling the ground that the chapter says must be filled before anything else will hold. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
