Donguibogam

Translation

Treats cold and damp striking the greater yang channel, with the nape stiff as though being wrenched out, unable to turn and look behind. Notopterygium and aralia 2 don each; ligusticum root, siler, and licorice 1 don each; cnidium and vitex 0.5 don each. Cut the above, make one packet, decoct in water and take. — Dongwon 東垣 (Donguibogam · Gyeonghang)

Clinical commentary 臨床

Wind herbs to defeat dampness — Dong-won's lesson that damp in the surface is lifted out by wind, not drained downward. For the back that aches like a wet coat before every rain. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
