Clinical commentary 臨床

Eight qi-movers at a don apiece and nothing else of consequence. The section on qi depression names cyperus, chuanxiong and atractylodes lancea as the medicinals to reach for, and all three are here; lindera and green tangerine peel extend the reach downward and outward. Cinnamon bark at 3 pun is the single warm note, small but deliberate, since qi that has been depressed long enough turns cold at the edges. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
