Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治鼻中生瘡. 片芩(酒炒) 二錢, 五味子ㆍ天門冬ㆍ麥門冬ㆍ半夏ㆍ杏仁 各一錢, 甘草 五分. 右剉, 作一貼, 入薑 五片, 水煎, 食後服. 《回春》 ○治咳嗽痰盛有熱, 肺氣不淸利. 半夏 三錢, 黃芩 二錢, 天門冬ㆍ麥門冬ㆍ五味子 各一錢半, 杏仁 一錢, 甘草 五分. 右剉, 作一貼, 入薑五片, 水煎服. 《咳嗽門》
Translation
Treats sores arising within the nose. Sliced scutellaria (wine-fried) 2 don; schisandra, asparagus, ophiopogon, pinellia and apricot kernel 1 don each; licorice 5 pun. Cut up, make one packet, add 5 slices of ginger, decoct in water and take after food. — Manbyeong Hoechun 回春 (Donguibogam · Bi) ○ Treats cough with abundant phlegm and heat, the lung qi not clear and free. Pinellia, 3 don; scutellaria, 2 don; asparagus, ophiopogon and schisandra, 1 don 5 fun each; apricot kernel, 1 don; licorice, 5 fun. Cut up, make one packet, add five slices of ginger, and decoct in water.
