Translation
Cow's milk 1 seung, with a little finely polished rice put in, boiled to a congee until done; taken regularly, it is best of all for the old. — Jonghaeng 種杏 (Donguibogam · Buyangno)
Clinical commentary 臨床
Rice boiled in milk instead of water. The chapter's 2.3.1 said milk was the best thing an old person could take regularly, and this is the way to take it. The Essence chapter's 3.8 made the case for congee; the appendix makes it for milk. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
