The pinellia carries a processing note but no weight; 〔二兩〕 is restored on the parallel with arisaema, which is listed immediately before it at 2 nyang with a matching two-day soak. A graph is also lost in 「入罐內▨」 describing how the crock is closed; the sense is supplied by the salt-clay lute that follows, and the lacuna is left unfilled. Medicated leaven appears only as the binding paste and is entered without a weight.

Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治濕熱痰, 去食積痰. 靑礞石 二兩(同焰硝二兩, 入罐內, 鹽泥固濟, 曬乾, 火煆紅, 候冷取出), 天南星 二兩(白礬末五錢和, 水浸二日), 半夏 〔二兩〕(皂角水浸二日), 片芩(薑汁炒)ㆍ赤茯苓ㆍ枳實(麩炒) 各三兩, 風化硝(用蘿葍同煮, 硝化, 去蘿葍濾淨, 入牛膽內風乾, 取五錢). 右爲末, 薑汁煮神麴爲糊和丸梧子大, 白湯下三五十丸. 此藥重在風化硝. 《入門》
Translation
Treats damp-heat phlegm and removes food accumulation phlegm. Chlorite schist 2 nyang, sealed in a crock with 2 nyang of niter under a salt-clay lute, sun-dried, calcined until red and left to cool before removal; arisaema 2 nyang, mixed with 5 don of powdered alum and steeped in water two days; pinellia 2 nyang, steeped two days in gleditsia pod water; scutellaria in broad lamina, ginger-juice fried, red poria, and bitter orange, bran-fried, 3 nyang each; efflorescent mirabilite, boiled with radish until the mirabilite dissolves, the radish discarded and the liquid strained clear, then placed inside an ox gallbladder and wind-dried, 5 don taken. Powder them, make a paste of medicated leaven boiled in ginger juice, form pills the size of a firmiana seed, and take thirty to fifty down with plain hot water.
