治兩足如火燎, 從足跗熱起, 漸至腰胯, 麻痺痿軟, 皆是濕熱爲病. 蒼朮(泔浸) 四兩, 黃柏(酒浸) 二兩, 牛膝ㆍ當歸尾(酒洗)ㆍ萆薢ㆍ防己ㆍ龜板(酥灸) 各一兩. 右爲末, 酒麪糊和丸梧子大, 空心, 薑鹽湯下百丸. 《正傳》
Translation
Treats both feet as though scorched by fire, the heat rising from the instep and reaching by degrees to the hips, with numbness and wilting softness — all of it damp heat as illness. Atractylodes soaked in rice water 4 nyang; wine-steeped phellodendron 2 nyang; achyranthes, wine-washed angelica tail, dioscorea hypoglauca, stephania, and butter-roasted turtle plastron, 1 nyang each.
