Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治因房室損精, 鬚髮早白. 秋石一斤, 白茯苓一斤, 天門冬ㆍ麥門冬ㆍ生地黃ㆍ熟地黃ㆍ人參ㆍ地骨皮ㆍ人乳粉各四兩. 右爲末, 蜜丸梧子大, 白湯, 或酒下五十丸. 《入門》

Translation

Treats essence damaged through bedroom affairs, with the beard and hair whitening early. Autumn mineral 1 geun, white poria 1 geun; asparagus, ophiopogon, raw rehmannia, prepared rehmannia, ginseng, lycium root bark, and human milk powder 4 nyang each. Powder the above, form into honey pills the size of firmiana seeds, and take 50 with plain hot water or wine. — Immun 入門 (Donguibogam · Mobal)

Clinical commentary 臨床

The indication is specific and unusual — greying attributed to sexual taxation in a young person rather than to age — and the two chief herbs at a full geun each carry the weight. Autumn mineral (秋石) is a refined preparation of urine, and human milk powder is what its name says; neither is used in contemporary practice, though both were regarded as the most direct route to replenishing essence precisely because they came from the body.
