Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治兩足痿軟, 久臥不起, 神效. 鹿角膠一斤, 鹿角霜ㆍ熟地黃各八兩, 當歸身四兩, 牛膝ㆍ白茯苓ㆍ兎絲子ㆍ人參ㆍ白朮ㆍ杜沖各二兩, 虎脛骨ㆍ龜板(幷酥灸) 各一兩. 右爲末, 將鹿角膠入酒烊化, 和丸梧子大, 薑鹽湯呑下百丸. 《正傳》

Translation

Treats both feet wilting and soft with long lying and inability to rise — divinely effective. Deer antler glue 1 geun; deer antler ash and prepared rehmannia, 8 nyang each; angelica body 4 nyang; achyranthes, white poria, cuscuta, ginseng, white atractylodes, and eucommia, 2 nyang each; tiger shin bone and turtle plastron, both butter-roasted, 1 nyang each. Clinical commentary 臨床

A pound of antler glue as the sovereign, with the antler ash beneath it — this is the heaviest filling formula in the chapter, and the indication justifies it: someone who has been lying down so long they can no longer get up. The source calls the effect divine.
