Clinical commentary 臨床

Sohsiho-tang and Pyeongwi-san combined, as the name says, with sparganium and curcuma added for the mass. The choice of base formulas answers the indication precisely: bupleurum and scutellaria for the heat that alternates, atractylodes and magnolia bark for the damp beneath it. This is the mildest of the lump formulas in the section, being a decoction rather than a pill and containing nothing that attacks. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
