Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治傷寒陰證, 頭痛ㆍ身疼, 或寒熱往來. 蒼朮二錢, 厚朴ㆍ陳皮ㆍ藿香ㆍ半夏ㆍ甘草各一錢. 右剉, 作一貼, 入薑三片, 棗二枚, 水煎服. 《入門》

Translation

Treats the yin pattern of cold damage with headache and body ache, or with chill and fever coming and going. Atractylodes lancea, 2 don; magnolia bark, tangerine peel, agastache, pinellia and licorice, 1 don each. Cut up, make one packet, add three slices of ginger and two jujubes and decoct in water. — Immun 入門 (Donguibogam · Han, upper)

Clinical commentary 臨床

Peaceful Stomach Powder with agastache and pinellia added, which is as economical a piece of formula-building as the chapter contains: the base already dries damp and moves the middle, the agastache turns it outward to the surface and the pinellia downward against the nausea. Six drugs. The name claims it would not be exchanged for gold, and the reason it earned that is reliability rather than power — like Agastache Qi-Rectifying Powder, it is a formula that does little harm when the diagnosis is still unsettled. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl.
