Treats lumbar pain, bringing down water and damp. Tangerine peel, Korean angelica, and kansui, in equal parts. Powder the above; take 3 don stirred into warm wine at bedtime. — Jahwa 子和 (Donguibogam · Yo)

Clinical commentary 臨床

Zihe's formula, and it bears his signature — where others dry the damp, he drives it out. Kansui is among the most forceful water-expelling medicinals in the pharmacy, and giving it at bedtime with tangerine peel and angelica to soften the assault is about as gentle as this approach gets. The chapter offers it as the alternative when drying formulas have not worked. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
